Hideo Kojima, a highly regarded figure in online movie reviews, has turned his focus to the current season of The Boys, and it seems he's quite impressed by what he has seen so far.

The renowned video game developer recently took to Twitter to express his views on The Boys season 4, particularly episode 4. He noted that the season has delved deeper into character development, incorporated extensive foreshadowing, and is building up towards its final season. Kojima says, "The irony of a 'bloody' hero, which represents America and modern society today, distinguishes it from other hero movies."

Episode 4, 'Wisdom of the Ages,' showcases Homelander at his most deranged yet. He revisits the lab of his childhood and wreaks havoc on the technicians there. He burns one scientist alive in a giant oven and uses his laser on another's groin area, creating a particularly unforgettable episode. It's no surprise that this episode spurred Kojima to publicly praise the show.

Fans seem to agree with Kojima's assessment, with one responding, "Yeah, the stained cape was no accident. Glad Kojima likes the show; it's probably the best thing on TV right now."
