Exciting Highlights and Game Reveals Await at the Future Games Show at Gamescom 2024

The Future Games Show during Gamescom 2024 is set to deliver an exhilarating experience for both gaming fans and industry aficionados. If you’re keen to catch the showcase, here’s everything you need to know about how to tune in, alongside details on presenters, games set to be revealed, and more.

You can join the Future Games Show, hosted by Sid Meier's Civilization 7, today, August 21, at 4pm ET / 1pm PT / 8pm GMT / 10pm CEST. The event will be streamed across numerous platforms including YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, X, TikTok, GamesRadar, and BiliBili, ensuring that it’s accessible no matter which service you prefer.

What can you anticipate at the presentation? Prominent hosts Alex McKenna, celebrated for her portrayal of Sadie Adler in Red Dead Redemption 2, and Ned Luke, recognized as Michael De Santa from Grand Theft Auto 5, will lead you throughout the event.

The Future Games Show will showcase a multitude of titles across platforms such as PS5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and PC. In total, over 50 games from prominent companies including 2K, Tripwire Presents, Plaion, Nacon, and Rebellion will be presented. Additionally, viewers can look forward to an exclusive preview of the upcoming second season of Amazon’s The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.

Are there any specific games catching your interest? For me, I’m particularly looking forward to updates on Civilization 7 and Greedfall 2. Civilization 7 will feature in-depth interviews by Firaxis Games, while Greedfall 2 will provide insights into its enchanting world filled with magic, ancient secrets, and bizarre creatures.

Moreover, the event will introduce new games, including titles like Caravan SandWitch, PVKK, The Explorator, SPINE, Bionic Bay, and Phantom Line.

In addition to new announcements, there will also be beloved returning segments such as the 'Indie Elevator Pitch', where developers present concise game pitches, and the 'Ones to Watch’ segment where the editorial team highlights their top picks. The excitement doesn’t end with the main show; the official post-show broadcast, the Future Games Show Expansion Pack, will follow immediately, featuring interviews with developers, special guests, and other surprises.

If this lineup has sparked your enthusiasm — especially in light of Geoff Keighley’s Opening Night Live presentation yesterday — make sure to tune in to the Future Games Show at Gamescom later today at 4pm ET / 1pm PT / 8pm GMT.
