With more than 100 million downloads on both Android and iOS, Call of Duty: Mobile is one of the most popular mobile games out there. It offers intense, action-packed multiplayer battles, along with an expansive Battle Royale mode to keep you entertained. But if you’re looking for something a bit different, here are five alternative games that should satisfy your craving for shooter games on the go.

PUBG Mobile

PUBG Mobile is the official port of Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds, a battle royale game first released on PC in 2017. The mobile version takes place on a smaller 8x8 km map called Erangel, which is filled with military buildings, houses, and other structures to provide cover from enemy fire. You can play solo or join others in squads of four players each and fight it out for the top spot among up to 100 players per match. The game also features a wide variety of weapons and vehicles that can be used to make your way across the battlefield and gain tactical advantages over other players.

Modern Combat 5: Blackout

Modern Combat 5: Blackout is an intense first-person shooter set in a modern war setting. You’ll play as one of four classes — Assault, Heavy, Recon, and Sniper — and customize their weapons before taking part in gripping PvP battles against other players or playing through its single-player campaign mode. The game offers great graphics and sound effects that really make you feel like you’re right in the middle of an intense firefight. Plus, you can join up with friends or complete special events to earn rewards such as weapons skins and XP boosts.

Shadowgun Legends

RPG meets the shooter in this sci-fi adventure where you play as a Shadowgun warrior fighting against aliens, robotic enemies, and more across vast worlds. As you progress through the story mode, you’ll come across many missions filled with enemies ready for battle; however, there are plenty of opportunities for customization, too, as you can choose from hundreds of customizable options when creating your character's look and build powerful gear sets from rare items collected from defeated foes. The game also has multiplayer PvP modes, so you can team up with friends online or take part in death matches against other players around the world.

N.O.V.A Legacy

NOVA Legacy is another great science fiction shooter where humans battle alien forces across futuristic levels using various weapons such as laser guns and rocket launchers while trying to save mankind from extinction. The game features several different modes, including story campaigns where you'll follow Kal Wardin's journey through 10 levels while trying to stop his enemies, arena mode where two teams compete against each other, special ops missions where special tasks must be completed within a limited time frame, plus daily challenges offering exclusive rewards if completed successfully within 24 hours.

Fortnite

Fortnite is one of today's most popular shooters featuring cartoonish characters battling it out for victory royale mode — the last person standing wins. Players will gather resources by harvesting materials found around them before building fortifications such as walls or traps as they fend off hordes of monsters during day cycles while protecting their base at night cycles from opponents who try to break into it through various means such as building bridges that cross over rivers or ladders leading to rooftops etc. With weekly updates keeping things fresh with new content such as skins, costumes, dances, emote map changes, etc., Fortnite will keep any player entertained for hours.
