The development team behind Lethal Company aims for future updates to evoke the thrill and chaos similar to "unleashing creatures from an extraterrestrial menagerie"

Since its Early Access launch in late October 2023, the breakout co-op horror game Lethal Company has undergone nearly 50 updates. However, looking ahead, developer Zeekerss is considering a change of pace. With an eye toward quality, they're exploring the idea of rolling out more significant, larger-scale updates with less frequency.
In a message posted on the social media site X/Twitter, Zeekerss opened up with a moment of personal honesty, acknowledging that various distractions in life had been a factor. Despite these, they teased that update number 50 was in the works, albeit progressing slowly. They teased fans with an analogy, hinting at massive changes: "Should we aim to make updates feel as if we'd unleashed every creature from an alien zoo?"
The post from Zeekers read: "Life's distractions have been plentiful, yet I'm nurturing Version 50 with care. It could be out now, yet I prefer it to be truly impactful. I'm now contemplating a shift toward releasing updates that are grander but less frequent."
