Exploring Kratos’ Age in God of War Ragnarok: A Fan Debate

The much-anticipated release of the new God of War installment, Ragnarok, is quickly approaching. As fans eagerly await to explore the world and characters created by Santa Monica Studios, the question on everyone's mind is – just how old is Kratos? The Spartan warrior has been a staple character throughout all titles from the franchise, and his mysterious age has sparked debates among fans. In this article, we will explore fan theories regarding Kratos' age in God of War Ragnarok.

The backstory of Kratos is deeply tragic - he was once a proud Spartan soldier who served Ares blindly until his wife and child were killed as part of his master's cruel plans. This led to him becoming an angry anti-hero who fought against Greek gods before journeying into Norse mythology with his son Atreus in God of War Ragnarok. From these events, it can be assumed that Kratos must have lived for at least two decades, if not more; however, there are no exact details provided in any game about when these events occurred or how long ago they happened.

Fans have speculated that since there are many references to time passing between games, such as Atreus being born after Kratos killed Ares (God Of War III) and growing up during their travels through Norse mythology (God Of War), then it is likely that Kratos could be anywhere between 40 - 50 years old during God Of War Ragnarok. However, some argue that due to his physical strength and agility, which don't seem to diminish even after battles with powerful gods like Thor or Odin, suggests that he could actually be significantly older than what we assume – perhaps over 100 years old!

It is also possible that because he was tricked by Zeus into killing Athena, which resulted in him being cursed with immortality, thus making him ageless despite going through so much physical trauma throughout all five games (including the upcoming one). This would explain why he does not appear to age despite being present for decades within Greek and Norse mythology – although this theory has yet to be confirmed by developers or canonized within any game itself. Regardless though fans still debate over this topic today, speculating wildly about the true age of their beloved protagonist while they wait for official answers from Sony Interactive Entertainment and Santa Monica Studios.

In conclusion, the question on everyone's mind remains unanswered until further information emerges from official sources. Until then, discussions will continue amongst passionate fans regarding how long our beloved Ghost Of Sparta may have been alive. While some believe it could range anywhere between 40 - 50 years or even longer, thanks to immortality, others speculate wildly without concrete evidence. Still, debating over topics like these are exciting ways for devoted gamers everywhere to enjoy exploring the world & characters created by Santa Monica Studios & Sony Interactive Entertainment in anticipation for upcoming releases like God Of War Ragnarok.
